Creators on first-of-the-month or per-creation billing must switch to subscription billing by November 1, 2026. If you do nothing, Patreon switches you and pauses billing until you set prices.

What to do before November 1

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this browser.

  1. Check your billing model

    Open Billing and payouts in your settings. Under Billing schedule you can see which model you use.

  2. Switch yourself if you bill on the first of the month

    In Billing and payouts, click Get started. The switch is permanent.

  3. Ask Support if you bill per creation

    Per-creation pages need help from Patreon Support. Ask before October 15, 2026.

  4. Check your new prices

    Look at the suggested prices for each tier before you switch. Tell your members about any change.

  5. Export your member list

    In Creator studio, open Audience and download the CSV file. Keep it even if you stay.
