Who runs Time to Bail
Time to Bail is run by Yury Atrashkevich, based in Cyprus. Address: Limassol. Email: hello@timetobail.com. This person decides how your data is used. In law this is called the “controller”.
What we collect
- Email alerts. Your email address, the services and categories you choose to watch, and the dates you confirmed or stopped. We also keep a record of each email we send you, and delivery events from our email provider, such as a bounce or a spam report.
- Email list and Pro waitlist. Your email address, the list you joined, the page you joined from, and the date.
- Product submissions from makers. What you type in the form, including the product URL and your email as the maker.
- Page counts. For each page view we store the page path, the time, and the site that sent you
(or its
utm_sourcetag). We count clicks on links to other products and a few button actions (like “watch” or “copy”) the same way. We do not store your IP address, your browser details, or any ID for this. Known bots are not counted. - Abuse limits. When you ask for email alerts or add a product, we store a one-way hash of your IP address and of your email address for about one hour. This stops spam sign-ups.
- Admin sign-in. If someone tries to sign in to our admin area, we keep their IP address in memory for 15 minutes to block password guessing.
- Server logs. Our server records errors and background job messages. We do not keep a log of each visit, and these logs do not include your IP address.
Your watchlist, the link to your stack and your light or dark theme are saved in your own browser. They do not reach us unless you ask for email alerts. We do not set cookies for visitors.
Why we use it
- We send emails only with your consent. You give it when you confirm alerts or join a list. You can take it back at any time.
- We use maker submissions to review and list the product, because you asked us to.
- We keep abuse limits, admin sign-in checks, error logs and page counts for a fair need of our own: to keep the site safe and to see which pages help people. In law this is called “legitimate interest”.
Who else handles your data
- Resend sends our emails. It gets your email address and the text of each email.
- DigitalOcean hosts our server and database.
- ImprovMX forwards emails you send to our address (for example hello@) to our inbox. It sees those emails while it passes them on.
- OpenRouter and the AI model it routes to get the tool name you type into "Check it", to search the web. We send only that name, never your IP address or email.
These companies are based in the US, so your data may be handled outside the EU. We use their standard data protection terms for this.
We use AI tools to help draft articles about public events. We never send your email or other personal data to them.
How long we keep it
- A link to confirm alerts works for one day. If you do not use it, we delete the request and your email address within a day after that.
- We delete the text of sent emails after 30 days. We keep a short record that the email was sent, and the delivery events, for 180 days. Then we delete them.
- We delete page counts and sign-up counts after 90 days.
- Abuse limit hashes last about one hour. We delete them within a day.
- When you stop alerts, we delete your watch choices at once. We keep your email address marked as “stopped” for 30 days, then we delete it with your email records. Ask us and we will delete it sooner. If you listed a product with us, we keep your address with that listing.
- If an email to you bounces or is marked as spam, we keep your address marked as blocked, so we never email it again.
- We delete maker submissions that were rejected or never confirmed after 30 days.
- We keep email list and waitlist addresses, and listed products, until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you. You can ask us to fix it or delete it. You can ask for a copy to take elsewhere. You can also object to how we use it. Write to hello@timetobail.com. We reply within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, in your own EU country or in Cyprus.
How to stop emails
Every alert email has a link to manage or stop your alerts. Use it at any time. You can also write to us.
Changes
If we change how we use data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
