Who is affected

The date to remember is November 7, 2026. Make the change before then.
What to do before November 7
- Check the version of each domain. In the OpenSearch Service console, list your domains and their engine versions.

- Upgrade before November 7. Upgrade each domain to a current OpenSearch version. AWS recommends the latest one.
A few tips:
- Make the change yourself before the date. Do not wait for the last reminder email.
