1. Search your code for old model names. Look for gpt-4, gpt-3.5-turbo, gpt-4-turbo, o1, o3-mini, o4-mini and gpt-image-1. Check plugins and no-code tools too.
2. Switch to the named replacement. Most go to gpt-5.6-sol or gpt-5.6-terra. gpt-4.1-nano goes to gpt-5.6-luna.
3. Test prompts and cost. Run your usual prompts on the new model. Check output, speed and price before October 23.
