1. Check model and Region. Look for these model IDs in the Regions listed. Other Regions may have different dates.
2. Move to an Active Claude model. AWS does not name a replacement here. Pick an Active model in the same Region and test it.
3. Watch your bill now. Public extended access has started, so prices may already be higher.

    Amazon Bedrock removes five older Claude models on November 13, 2026. They are Claude 3 Haiku, Claude 3 Sonnet, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Claude 3.5 Sonnet v2 and Claude 3.7 Sonnet. This hits a set of Regions in Asia, Europe, Canada and South America.
